It is the responsibility of the county clerk to issue, register, record and keep various county records including legal and land records.

Legal records such as deeds, name changes, mechanics liens, mortgages, powers of attorney, wills, corporations, tax liens, military discharges, trademarks, assignments, releases, marriages, and delinquent property taxes can be viewed at the Fleming County Courthouse. Land records can be view there as well or online through the system.
